A quantitative descriptive–correlational design was employed among 334 HUMSS students selected through total enumeration. Data were gathered through a validated survey and analyzed using mean, standard deviation, correlation, and regression. The results revealed a significant relationship between social media usage, peer pressure, and self-esteem. Correlation analysis indicated that peer pressure had a moderately strong, positive, and significant association with self-esteem, demonstrating a stronger relationship compared to social media usage. Regression analysis further confirmed that both social media usage and peer pressure significantly influence students’ self-esteem. These findings indicate that adolescents’ self-esteem is affected by their online experiences and peer interactions. Hence, the study underscores the importance of implementing targeted guidance programs and school-based interventions to help students develop healthier self-perceptions and coping strategies. The results revealed a significant relationship between social media usage, peer pressure, and students’ self-esteem. This study employed   descriptive-quantitative method of research. The respondents of this research were the Grade 5 Mathematics  learners among the select public elementary schools in Madridejos District of Cebu Province Division during the School Year 2025 – 2026.  The population has a total of 65 respondents with 10 teachers and 55 learners. The quality of Mathematics instruction is closely associated with teachers' professional competence, continuous learning, and instructional experience. Significant relationship between status of the time management   strategies and the academic performance of the grade 5 mathematics learners stating that there is no significant relationship between the status of the time management strategies and the academic performance of the Mathematics learners is partially rejected. The hypothesis is rejected for the dimensions and competencies where the computed probability values are less than the 0.05 level of significance, particularly in setting boundaries in Completing Homework, Balancing Time for School Work, and Balancing Time for Playing, while it is retained for dimensions where the probability values exceed the 0.05 alpha level. As a result, effective time management becomes an essential component of quality Mathematics instruction because it supports learner engagement, strengthens self-discipline, and provides greater opportunities for meaningful mathematical learning.  Findings provide empirical evidence that effective time management practices contribute meaningfully to improving learners' academic productivity in Mathematics and support the development of organized learning behaviors that facilitate mastery of the Most Essential Learning Competencies. Based on the conclusions reached in this research, it is highly Recommended “the Time Management Oriented Activities   can be   submitted to the concerned /  school officials for consideration and implementation. The findings provide an understanding of how these learner-centered instructional approaches contribute to the effective development of Grade 7 students' numeracy skills. The findings provide valuable insights into the strengths and learning gaps of Grade 7 students that may guide the continuous improvement of adaptive pedagogical practices in mathematics instruction with an overall rating of Lack Mastery .Significant relationships exist between several adaptive pedagogical strategies and specific MELC numeracy competencies, while other strategy-competency combinations do not demonstrate statistically significant relationships. Therefore, the findings indicate that the effectiveness of adaptive pedagogical strategies depends on the particular numeracy competency being developed, rather than one instructional strategy being equally effective across all learning outcomes. Based on the conclusions reached in this research, it is highly   recommended  “the Strategic flexible Activities in Numeracy can be   submitted to the concerned school officials for consideration and implementation. However, despite national policies and programs to promote literacy, communities like Barangay Pinsao Proper in Baguio City continue to face significant challenges in accessing quality learning opportunities across formal, non-formal, and informal domains. This study was conducted to assess the specific literacy needs of the barangay and to serve as the basis for a sustainable and inclusive outreach program by the University of Baguio. To gain a deeper understanding of the community’s needs, the researchers employed a qualitative descriptive approach. This allowed for a thorough document analysis of barangay records and community monitoring systems. These sources were complemented by semi-structured interviews and focus group interview with residents representing various age groups, occupations, and educational backgrounds. Results revealed key issues such as a high number of non-readers, low participation in vocational training, lack of literacy resources, and barriers related to poverty, digital access, and psychosocial factors. Based on these findings, the researchers proposed a three-year development plan that addresses the community’s needs through targeted programs including digital literacy, reading and numeracy tutorials, adult education, mental health awareness, and vocational training. The study emphasizes the need for collaborative, community-based interventions that contribute to achieving Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities), further offers a model for similar efforts in other underserved communities. (Science Innovations for Genuinely Localized Action) Program. The research aimed to determine how localized instructional interventions influence the behavioral, emotional, and cognitive involvement of learners and their subsequent mastery of Science competencies in rural secondary schools. A descriptive-correlational research design was employed to analyze the dynamics between engagement dimensions and academic outcomes. The respondents of the study included a total of 110 respondents from select National High Schools in the District of Villaba, Leyte, namely Villaba National Comprehensive High School, Cahigan National High School, and Sambulawan National High School. The teacher-respondent profile (n=5) consisted of licensed professional educators, primarily aged 26–45, with a balanced gender distribution and active involvement in graduate studies. The student-respondent profile (n=105) comprised Junior High School learners, predominantly aged 13–16, coming from low-income households with a monthly family income typically below ₱10,000. Results indicated that the S.I.G.L.A. Program is perceived as "Highly Positive" (3.70) by stakeholders, with its gamified and localized activity exemplars receiving the highest approval. Student engagement was found to be generally high (3.23), characterized by "Very High" Emotional Engagement but relatively lower Cognitive Engagement. In terms of academic performance, the respondents demonstrated a Satisfactory level of Science achievement (81.76); however, competency-based assessments highlighted a significant struggle in Higher-Order Thinking Skills (HOTS), particularly in analyzing and synthesizing (77.50%). Correlational analysis revealed a significant relationship between engagement levels and Science achievement, though this relationship is hindered by a Linguistic Barrier (82.7%) and a Lack of Laboratory Equipment (75.5%). The study concludes that while the S.I.G.L.A. Program effectively captivated students through localized interest, cognitive scaffolding and translanguaging strategies are necessary to translate engagement into mastery. The study recommends the formal adoption of the S.I.G.L.A. Science Enhancement Program to institutionalize community-based inquiry and dismantle the linguistic and resource-based barriers in the District of Villaba. This study addressed this gap by examining how job stress, organizational commitment, job security, career development opportunities, management support, and compensation and benefits predict turnover intention among employees of a selected BPO account in Angeles City, Pampanga. Anchored on the Job Demands-Resources Theory, Organizational Commitment Theory, Perceived Organizational Support Theory, and Equity Theory, the study employed a quantitative predictive cross-sectional research design. Data were collected from 204 BPO employees and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) through WarpPLS Version 8. The measurement model demonstrated satisfactory reliability, convergent validity, and discriminant validity, with acceptable factor loadings, Average Variance Extracted (AVE) values ranging from 0.654 to 0.760, composite reliability values ranging from 0.930 to 0.962, and Heterotrait-Monotrait (HTMT) ratios below the recommended threshold of 0.90. The structural model explained 44% of the variance in turnover intention, indicating moderate predictive power. Results revealed that job stress, career development opportunities, and compensation and benefits significantly predicted turnover intention, whereas organizational commitment, job security, and management support did not exhibit significant direct effects. These findings suggest that employees' intention to leave a BPO account is influenced more by immediate work demands, perceived opportunities for career advancement, and fairness of rewards than by general organizational attachment or support. The study contributes an account-level retention model for BPO operations and provides practical evidence for designing targeted retention strategies focused on stress reduction, transparent career pathways, equitable compensation systems, and improved workforce sustainability within the Philippine BPO industry. This study systematically reviewed literature published between 2022 and 2025 examining the relationship among work-life balance, burnout, organizational commitment, job satisfaction, and faculty well-being, drawing on both international and Philippine higher education contexts. Anchored on the Job Demands-Resources (Jd-R) model and Social Exchange Theory (SET), the review synthesized findings across demographic factors (age, gender, marital status, rank, employment type, and tenure), dimensions of faculty well-being (physical, mental, emotional, and social), work-life balance factors linked to burnout ( workload distribution, job resources, scheduling, and role/boundary management), and the dimensions of organizational commitment (effective, continuance, and normative). The review indicates that heavier workload, weaker institutional support, and poorly managed role boundaries are consistently associated with higher burnout and lower well-being while adequate job resources, supportive scheduling, and effective commitment are associated with stronger job satisfaction and retention intentions. Demographic factors such as age, tenure, and employment type moderate these relationships in ways that carry direct implications for differentiated institutional policy. Building on this synthesis, the study proposes a conceptual structural equation model linking work-life balance factors, burnout, organizational commitment, job satisfaction, and faculty well-being, intended to guide future empirical validation and to inform higher education institutions seeking a more sustainable approach to academic workforce management. This study determined the effectiveness of LMS-integrated instruction in improving the English writing skills of Grade 10 students at Don Vicente Rama Memorial National High School during the School Year 2025–2026. Fifty Grade 10 students participated in a quantitative pre-test–post-test study.  Data were gathered using a rubric-based writing examination and an adapted survey questionnaire and analyzed using descriptive statistics and a paired-samples t-test at the 0.05 level of significance. Students’ writing performance improved from Fair before LMS-integrated instruction to Good after exposure across clarity of claim or position, organization of ideas, use of supporting evidence, grammar and sentence structure, and mechanics. Significant differences were found between pre-test and post-test performance across all writing indicators (p < .001). Students also consistently engaged in LMS-supported writing activities, with revising obtaining the highest mean (M = 3.52), followed by collaborative writing (M = 3.48), drafting (M = 3.44), and digital assessment (M = 3.44), all interpreted as Always. The findings indicate that LMS-integrated instruction supported improvements in students’ English writing performance while providing opportunities for sustained practice, revision, collaboration, and assessment. The study recommends strengthening the purposeful integration of LMS-supported activities into English writing instruction to further develop students’ writing competencies.
