Grammar Standards
Correct English Usage: Manuscripts must be in English. No spelling errors, subject-verb agreement issues, or run-on sentences.
- Punctuation Precision: Proper commas, semicolons, colons, APA-style citations ("Smith, 2024")
- Sentence Variety: Mix simple/compound/complex structures. Avoid repetitive phrasing
- Third-Person ONLY: "The study analyzed data" NOT "We analyzed data"
Technical Writing Requirements
MANDATORY: Use current IRMR Word template (IMRAD, APA 7th, GitHub links)
- Template Compliance: Non-compliant formatting triggers immediate return
- APA 7th: Minimum 15 references with DOIs, structured abstract ≤250 words
- Clarity: Define acronyms first use: "Open Journal Systems (OJS)"
- IMRAD Flow: Logical transitions, 6,000-8,000 words target
