Pagpapataas ng Antas ng Kasanayan sa Filipino 9 Gamit ang MP4 (Manood at Paunlarin ang 4 na Kasanayan sa Filipino)

Pangkalahatang layunin ng pananaliksik na ito na pataasin ang antas ng kasanayan ng mga mag-aaral sa Filipino 9 ng Infanta National High School gamit ang MP4. Ang apat na pangunahing kasanayan na nais linangin ng pag-aaral na ito ay ang kasanayan sa: pag-unawa sa binasa, pag-unawa sa napakinggan, panggramatika, at paglinang ng talasalitaan na nakapaloob sa Most Essential Learning Comptencies ng DepEd. Upang magkaroon ng katuparan ang pag-aaral na ito gumamit ang mananaliksik ng metodolohiyang Quasi-Experimental. Ang mga naging respondente ng pag-aaral na nagmula sa Ika-9 na baitang ay hinati sa dalawang pangkat sa pamamagitan ng random sampling, ang ekspiremental at kontrol na pangkat. Binigyan ang mga respondente ng pretest at posttest upang malaman kung may makabuluhang pagkakaiba sa antas ng kanilang kasanayan bago at matapos gamitin ang MP4. Ang mga nakalap na datos ay itinala at sinuri sa pamamagitan ng mean at t-test. Sa pamamagitan ng pagsusuri at interpretasyon ng mga nakalap na datos natunghayan ang manipestasyon na bagama’t tumaas ang kasanayan ng mga mag-aaral na nasa kontrol na pangkat na ginamitan ng tradisyonal na pamamaraan hindi maipagkakailang mas higit na tumaas ang kasanayan ng mga mag-aaral sa asignaturang Filipino sapagkat ginamitan sila ng interbensyong MP4. Mahalaga ang ginampanan ng pananaliksik na ito sapagkat ito’y tumugon sa kasalukuyang pangangailangan ng mga mag-aaral na mahubog ang kanilang mga kasanayan sa ilalim ng Modular Distance Learning. Wala mang direktang interaksyon sa proseso ng pagtuturo at pagkatuto, sa pamamagitan naman nito ay nabigyang gabay ang mga mag-aaral upang sa ganun ay mapataas ang kanilang kasanayan.
